Alex Goodwin
Alex started his career as a private equity investor spending time across Odyssey Investment Partners, Audax Group, and Leonard Green & Partners, with deal experience ranging from lower middle-market to large-cap buyout. During his tenure, he assisted in the completion of 14 transactions with aggregate enterprise value of over $12 billion.
After private equity, Alex joined Winc (NYSE:WBEV) as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Innovation, building both of those functions from scratch. Alex was a member of the senior leadership team and oversaw the execution and integration of the company’s first acquisition. In addition, Alex was responsible for the development of several new brands and spearheaded the company’s expansion into new product categories in his capacity as head of the cross-functional innovation committee. During his time at Winc, the company grew from ~$35M to ~$85M in Revenue and completed its IPO.
Alex received his BBA from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan and is an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School for the Class of 2024.c
